About Illmatic Media
Illmatic Media is a foundation, founded by Eddy de Heij, built to support Hip Hop — not as a memory, but as a living thing: a beat, a mic, a kid with a notebook on the stoop.
Talent is everywhere; a real digital media presence is not. That gap is exactly what this foundation is here to close.

Support for young artists
Four ways the foundation shows up: presence, creation, marketing, and a crew that answers the phone.
Digital Presence
Photos, video, a website, socials that look like you mean it. We build the package so the world can actually find you.
Creation
Studio time, beats, videographers, designers. Budgets and know-how for records, films and everything in between.
Marketing
Release plans, press, radio, posters, flyers. Getting honest boom bap in front of the people who need to hear it.
Open Doors
Masterclasses, workshops and a crew that answers the phone. We pass the contacts on — studios, screens, promoters, shops.
got a project and no budget? bring the heat — we'll bring the know-how
The Boom Bap Playlist
Fifteen tracks from the golden era — all New York, all nineties, all drums that knock. Press play on any of them.

New from Deams — Annihilator (Remix)
Amsterdam OG, Dutch Hip Hop pioneer, and a friend since Deams Music started in 2011.
His new one teams him with producer CHU and Dope D.O.D. — dark, stripped-back boom bap, the way it should be. DJ Premier, Guru, Ice-T, Big Daddy Kane, De La Soul, Chuck D and Jeru the Damaja are already on the résumé; this keeps the line going.
